1st Half:
The first half featured many attempts to reach the opponent’s goal, which finally paid off in the 43rd minute when Diego Madrigal scored from the penalty spot to open the scoring. However, Quepos managed to equalize near the end of the half.
2nd Half:
In the second half, the team tried to maintain the score and secure a positive result away from home, but a play by the opposing team caused confusion in the defense and led to an own goal. The match ended in a 2–1 defeat.
