Yurdy Hodelin, Elvis Casanova, and Marcos Campos have rejoined Futbol Consultants Desamparados training sessions after representing the Cuba U-20 National Team in the FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Chile.
The Cuban squad made history with a remarkable performance, showing great determination and quality despite not advancing to the knockout stage.
Cuba debuted against Argentina, falling 3–1 in their opening match. However, the team earned widespread praise in the second round with a historic 1–1 draw against Italy. They closed out the group stage with another hard-fought match, a 3–1 defeat to Australia.
All three Futbol Consultants players were starters in each of Cuba’s matches, demonstrating the club’s continued impact and presence on the international stage.
