Futbol Consultants Desamparados proudly congratulates Ian Badilla and Jeffrey Urbina on being crowned 2025 UNCAF Cup champions with the Costa Rica U-16 National Team.
Both players, products of the Futbol Consultants Edson Soto Academy, have been an integral part of the club’s development process and have actively participated in the professional team’s training environment over the past few years.
Badilla, a central defender, started in the final where La Sele defeated Guatemala 1–0 to secure the Central American title. Urbina also contributed to the team’s success, coming on as a substitute in the decisive match.
Through their experience with Futbol Consultants, both players have developed the confidence and maturity required to perform at the highest level, thanks to their consistent participation in youth league finals and competitive tournaments.

Badilla and Urbina have now returned to Costa Rica to rejoin the club’s training sessions and continue their professional development with the team.
