MATCH RECAP| FC DESAMPARADOS 2-2 MPAL. TURRIALBA

The 10th round of the tournament commenced on Sunday at 1:00 pm. This round would see Fc Desamparados against Municipal Turrialba at the José Joaquin “Colleya” Fonseca Stadium. The game started in the middle of a cloudy but hot day, as the game progressed the sun also began to beam upon the pitch even more.

Turrialba struck the score board quickly, scoring within the first 15 minutes of the game.

The second half commenced and the Fc Desamparados side seemed rejuvenated. Fc Desamparados won a penalty in the 50th minute, as Isaac Garro converted this chance into a goal. The team continued to press, and at the 62nd minute Dylan Alpizar found the back of the net.

As the game was about to end, the referee called a very controversial penalty on the Fc Desamparados goalkeeper, and Turrialba took full advantage of this finding the back of the net and equalizing the game.

Both teams secured a point as Fc Desamparados will return to action Sunday September 29th at 2 pm at the Labrador Stadium against CS Uruguay in Coronado.
