This past Wednesday, Futbol Consultants faced Fc Antioquia at the José Joaquin “Colleya” Fonesca stadium for match day 7. The weather was ideal for a soccer match, with very cool weather setting the tone for a perfect match against two quality sides. The game kicked off at 7 pm, and from the start both teams sought to control the ball. Consultants were very strong defensively and able to withstand every attack and counter attack efficiently.

The first half had a mixture of opportunities, but both teams were unable to separate themselves at half. As the second half commenced, both teams were looking to find that goal to set the tone for the match. Many changes were made at half in order to find that answer. The game stretched on until the 86th minute, where Antioquia managed to score with little time remaining.

With only a few minutes left in the game, Consultants continued to push back, creating a few chances to even the score. In the end, the referee ended the game after 90 minutes plus four additional minutes. Tonight FC Desamparados will face off against A.D. Cariari at the “Colleya” Fonesca Stadium in what appears to be a very promising match.

This will be a crucial opportunity for FC Desamparados to gain points early in the season. With much at stake, the team will be looking to change the momentum of the season, and secure a crucial victory.
