Consultants ties and continues in the fight to qualify.
Last Friday at the Colleya Fonseca stadium, Futbol Consultants Desamparados tied 2 to 2 against Escorpiones de Belén, in a match that was full of excitement until the end.
FC Desamparados took the lead on the scoreboard in the first five minutes by the effort of our #10 Diego Estrada.
The midfielder shot from the edge of the box after an excellent pass by the Panamanian, Sergio Moreno.
Despite gaining the advantage, the team continued to press with intensity and was able to achieve the second goal.
Malik Rodríguez dribbled through the left wing and managed to get a cross, where our young yet experienced player, Randy Ramírez was able to place in the back of the net in the 8th minute.
The first half concluded with no change in the scoreboard. Consultants was winning 2 to 0, yet the home team suffered the expulsions of Diego Estrada and Malik Rodríguez.
This placed Desamparados in an uphill position, where despite the effort made by the players to maintain the scoreboard, Escorpiones de Belén achieved the discount at 51st minute through Greivin Fonseca and the tie at 90+3′ with a goal from Josué Martínez.
Consultants reached 13 points and is only 5 points away from the qualifying zone.
Following the match, FC Desamparados will encounter FC Guadalupe on Friday October 6th, at 1:00pm at the Estadio Colleya Fonseca.
