On Wednesday, FC Desamparados visits Escorpiones de Belén at the Polideportivo de Belén and kickoff is scheduled at 1:00 pm.
Based on an interview made to last game’s MVP and under 21 player, Fabián Cuervo, he expressed the team is ready to take this challenge, “As a team we have been preparing really well. We are highly focused and motivated to play this upcoming game, as we know the importance on winning those 3 points.”
Cuervo understands the importance of accumulating those 3 points, as in order to reach their qualification zone, these points are crucial against Escorpiones de Belén, a direct rival.
The defender had his debut with the pro second division team only this season, and with only 18 years of age, he has earned a spot with the starting 11. He says, “I’m really happy that I’ve been given the confidence to get minutes in the field.”
Cuervo continues by expressing he will continue to work hard and attempt to do a great job on field, “I’m really motivated and determined to backup that confidence that they’re giving.”
