On Sunday, FC Desamparados will visit Limón Blackstar at the Estadio Juan Gobán and kickoff is scheduled at 1:30pm.
Based on an interview made to the assistant coach, Benjamín Mayorga, FC Desamparados have been using their training sessions efficiently to face the upcoming game, “Truly this week has been profitable for us. We have analyzed the mistakes we made in the last match and we want to go to Limón with a winner mindset,” he says.
He continues, “Considering what we have worked with the players this week, we need to face this game knowing it’s going to be a tough weather and a hostil environment.”
Regardless of the obstacles yet to be faced, the team is ready for the challenge, “We’ve transmitted the idea where that type of environments will help us grow and it will be an enormous emotional punch if we manage to win in Limón,” says Mayorga.
The assistant coach explains this will be a great challenge for the team. “Even though Limón has a lot of experienced players and we are the contrary with a lot of young players, the boys are prepared to face the game,” says Mayorga.
He ends by stating that just like the players, the whole staff is ready to face this upcoming game and they have complete trust in all the players.
