Joram Fernández has been part of the institution for over 4 years. He arrived as a 20-year-old amateur player, and 4 years later he is leaving after being a non-questionable starter, team captain and leader on and off the field.
Joram Fernández is taking his professional career to the next level, as he has just been recruited by the Costa Rican First Division team, AD San Carlos.
Based on an interview made to the defender, he took the news in a great way, “When I was told San Carlos wanted to recruit me, I was really calmed, happy, and motivated,” Fernández says.
He expressed how those 4 years as a captain and playing in second division with Consultants led him to this opportunity. He continued, “That’s all second division players’ dream and objective, to keep hustling until they get the opportunity to ascend or for a First Division team to see us.”
Fernández is thankful to have been given that opportunity, “I believe that I always did my best, I persevered, and I knew that at some point I was going to be given the opportunity, which thanks God just happened,” he says.
The team is grateful to have seen such player go from being a kid and grow into the captain, leader and hustler he is today.
