After 2 years of hard work in FC Desamparados midfield, Héctor Vasquez is recruited in the First Division Costa Rican team, AD San Carlos. With only 23 years of age, his taking the leap from second division to first, after having an outstanding season in the holding midfield position.
Based on an interview made to the midfielder, Vasquez expressed his joy about the recruitment, “Honestly, I’m extremely happy for the opportunity I have been given of going to the First Division,” he said.
He continued by stating his gratitude with the team, “I’m really grateful with FC Desamparados for opening me the doors for these past two years. FC Desamparados helped me grow as a player and a person, which makes me value a lot the team,” Vasquez said.
The holding mid is ready to take on this next adventure and make the most out of it, “In addition, I’m highly committed to AD San Carlos, which is a team with a big identity. I will be defending those colors, just like I’ve done with all the different teams I’ve played for,” Vasquez said.
He ended by expressing he’s ready to take this challenge, “I believe this is also a great responsibility I’m assuming, where I’ll try to do everything in the best possible way and always give my best version,” he said.
The team is proud of Vasquez, a hard-working player who always gave his 100% throughout his 2 years with the institution.
