On Saturday, FC Desamparados will visit Municipal Liberia for the second game of Quarter Finals at the Estadio Edgardo Baltodano Briceño and kickoff is scheduled at 7:00pm.
In the series, FC Desamparados is down by three and requires to score three goals to at least tie the series.
Based on an interview made to the player Jordin Urbina, he explains how the team felt after the last game, “Emotionally, it was a hard hit for the team, as we knew it was going to be a difficult game, yet we never imagined we would be losing the series by three,” Jordin says.
Nevertheless, Jordin expresses how the team had been working hard for their encounter, “That week the team had been working well, and that was not seen on the game. The reality is that Liberia came to our home field and scored three. Regardless, we’re certain and trust our capabilities to take on Saturday’s away game,” he says.
And continued, “It will not be easy. Yet, we trust in what we’re capable of doing. This week has been intense due to what we’re facing on Saturday.”
Lastly, the defender explains the team FC Desamparados will encounter will be even more difficult from the team they faced home. Nevertheless, they’re clear and know what they’re playing for. “This week we have been training hard, and we’re focused into what we want to do, which is to win and qualify to semifinals,” Jordin says.
