By winning the game, FC Desamparados secures the pass to the next round. However, if they lose, their pass to the next round will depend on the result of other matches.
Based on an interview made to the forward and last-minute-goal-scorer of the previews game, Dylan Alpizar, he expressed his content with his goal on the last game, which gave the team some ease with the tie on the 83rd minute. Alpizar says, “I’m really happy for scoring in the previews game, as I was able to contribute to the team.”
The forward expressed how the team has been working hard and is mentalized for the game against Turrialba, “The whole team is really focused in winning the three points in Turrialba and qualifying for the next round,” Alpizar says.
He continued, “The whole team is working at a high level, very focused and competing for a spot to play next game.”
