FC Desamparados faced San José FC on Saturday, October 22nd at 2:00pm in their home field, Estadio Jorge Hernán Cuty Monge. The game was open to public and the final score was a tie by 2.
The game started at a high tempo with both teams trying to assert their dominance. It was the home team, FC Desamparados, who broke the deadlock after 23 minutes when the Panamanian, Sergio Moreno, placed the ball on the back of the net off from a penalty kick and finished to make the score 1-0.
Nevertheless, the lead did not last long, as it took San José FC only three minutes to tie the score.
The attacks from San José FC continued in the second half, where at the 75th minute the visitor team managed to take the lead, making the score 2-1 on their favor.
FC Desamparados fought back, and it was in the 83rd minute when the Sub20 player, Dylan Alpizar, who had just subbed into the field a few minutes before, managed to tie the match, leaving the scoreboard at 2-2 full time.
Following the match, FC Desamparados will face Municipal Turrialba on Sunday, October 30th. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00pm at the Estadio Rafael Ángel Camacho.
