Our team captain, Joram Fernández, is finally enabled to play again.
After being out for two games due to a red card, FC Desamparados team captain is finally enabled to play this Saturday against San José FC in the home game at 2:00pm in the Estadio Jorge Hernán Cuty Monge.
The defender was shown the red card in the home game against Aserrí FC on October 1st, which had a final score of 2-2. The team captain received the card before a corner kick and during a tussle with an opponent. Fernández was sanctioned for two games.
Based on an interview made to Fernández, he explained how happy and grateful he is to be enabled to play again, he continued “I’m ready to put from my end and help the team in whichever way I can. We’re ready to take this new challenge.”
He also expressed how the upcoming game determines a lot of things, so it has created a good environment, “We are more united than ever. We all know what we are playing for, and we know that we need to put on a fight,” Fernández says.
He continued, “There is pressure, like anything else, but we know that if we are united we will be able to achieve all of our goals,” he says.
