FC Desamparados lost last Saturday, September 3rd, against San José FC as a visitor. The final score was 2-1, leaving FC Desamparados in the fifth place of Group B’s table.
The game was played at 3:00pm on the Estadio Ernesto Rohrmoser.
The home team, San José FC, opened the scoring in the 13th minute.
FC Desamparados began maintaining the possession of the ball, yet wasn’t able to create clear chances in their last quarter.
It was until the 43rd minute that FC Desamparados tied game. After a cross coming from the left side of the pitch, the outside back, Jordin Urbina headed the ball inside the box, right into goal.
Nevertheless, 4 minutes later, San José FC scored once again leaving the scoreboard at 2-1. No more goals were scored.
In the second half, FC Desamparados received two clear fouls inside the box, yet the referees did not call for a penalty.
