This upcoming Friday, August 19th, FC Desamparados will be playing another away game, this time against the current group leader, Asociación Deportiva Aserrí FC.
The game will be played on the Rafael Bolaños Stadium at 4:00pm. This is the fourth game on the Torneo de Apertura of La Liga de Ascenso.
After last weeks’ win, the team has been progressing and getting more confident as the season develops.
On an interview made this week to the player Sergio Moreno, he explained his content with the teams’ performance so far. “The team has been working really well so far. Even though we struggled a little starting the tournament, we are going from less to more. And right now, we find ourselves in a really good point, physically and mentally,” Moreno said.
Even though the team is about to play the group’s leader, the Panamanian sees this upcoming game as an opportunity. Moreno said “Having to play against a rival like Aserrí, who’s in the first position of the group, gives us a really good opportunity for what we want; which is to aspire on being in the top 4 and being able to stay in those top positions.”
He continued, “We know that with a win, we will be standing at only 2 points away from Aserrí. That will make this upcoming game really attractive for the public.”
