Today our first team FC Desamparados will be traveling to play their second away game of the season. They will be facing Municipal Santa Ana.
The game will be played on the Rafael Bolaños Stadium, at 3:00pm this evening.
This is the third game on the Torneo de Apertura of La Liga de Ascenso. The game will be open to public and the entrance has a cost of 3,000 mil colones.
After last weeks’ defeat, the team worked thoroughly through out the week to prepare for today’s game.
On an interview made this week, the Assistant Coach, Luis Carlos Arias, said the team has an important match against Santa Ana, “They are emotionally coming strong, after they won their last game against Cariari,” he said.
Last game FC Desamparados created a lot of chances of scoring and they want to follow that line. “We did a good job last game, and even though we were not able to get the win, the team performed well and were close to achieve our goal,” Arias said.
Arias explained they were going all in for today, “We believe the guys are in the best conditions to win this game and get the three points, these are now vital for us.”
