Today our first team, FC Desamparados, will play their first home game of the season. The team will be facing the Caribbean based team, Limón Black Star.
The game will be played on our home field, Estadio Jorge Hernán “Cuty” Monge, at 2:00pm this evening.
This is the second game on the Torneo de Apertura of La Liga de Ascenso. The game will be open to public and the entrance has a cost of 2 mil colones, which can be bought at the stadium through cash or SINPE Móvil.
After last weeks’ defeat, the team worked thoroughly through out the week to prepare for today’s game.
On an interview made this week, the teams assistant coach, Christian Montero said the team is already prepared for todays game. “More than worrying about what happened in the last game against Cariari, we just focused on working in the details,” Montero said.

He continued, “for this upcoming game, the team is already more tuned and we will be at our 100% to play against Limón.”
FC Desamparados is going all in for all home games, “our team is really focused to win all games in our home stadium. We want to secure our spot now and not grasp for points at the end of the tournament,” said Montero.
