FC Desamparados fell to Cariari Pococí 3-2 on Monday, August 1st, at the Pococí Comunal Stadium.
After the season kick off game on Sunday was postponed due to landslides on Route 32, FC Desamparados traveled yesterday to play against Cariari Pococí.
Cariari Pococí opened the scoring at the 35th minute, followed by the second goal at the 37th minute, both goals scored by Anderson Nuñez.
Davis Paniagua had his team debut when he was subbed in for Alejandro Ruiz at the 46th minute.
The Panamanian, Sergio Moreno, scored the FC Desamparados‘ first goal of the season at the 53rd minute.
However, 5 minutes later, Anderson Nuñez scored another goal for the home team.
The last goal of the match was scored at the 86th minute by Sergio Moreno.
In addition, at the 45+4’ Randy Ramírez received a red card, he will miss the following 2 matches.
In our starting 11, both Randall Alvarado and Fabricio Venegas made their team debut.
FC Desamparados will return home for the second match of the season on Saturday, August 6th against Limón Blackstar. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm at Jorge Hernán “Cuty” Monge Stadium.
