Futbol Consultants Desamparados drew 1-1 against Uruguay de Coronado last Wednesday and continues fighting in the top positions of the group.
Visits to Labrador Stadium are always complicated by the field conditions, strong winds and cold weather that characterize Coronado city.
However, Consultants managed to impose their style of football from the start and managed to open the scoring with a header from Sergio Moreno at 32′.
The play came with a cross sent by Kevin Baltodano and the Panamanian only had to flick the header and beat the goalkeeper.
The first half ended with a 1-0 score and a dominant performance from our boys.
In the second half, the home team took advantage of a miscommunication in our team’s defense to level the score at 65th with a goal by Gustavo Portuguez.
The tie left Consultants in 6th place in the group with 14 points, just one away from fourth place.
On the next gameday, we will face Golfito at the Cuty Monge stadium in Desamparados on Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m.
