The French player Aurele Chamin will play throughout 2022 with Futbol Consultants Desamparados in the Liga de Ascenso de Costa Rica.
The center defender signed a one-year contract with the team and will strengthen the back line.
Aurele is a 1.91 m, left footed, possession playing centerback. Those characteristics caught the attention of the coaching staff and the board of directors.
The defender comes from college soccer in the United States and this will be his first professional experience.
“Is a great chance for me, coming from college. It’s a next step for me signing a professional contract here. I hope have a great season, scoring goals, keeping the clean sheets and let’s see whats the future is for me here in Costa Rica”, said Aurele.
The president of the team Mónica Malavassi, highlighted the good technique and the height of the European.
“We are very happy to have signed Aurele for the 2022 season. I think he is a great fit for our team and the type of soccer we play. He will bring a lot of strength to our backline and he is very strong in the air and also very important for us. We are going to welcome him and we hope we can reach together all the expectations and the goals we have for the next season”.
Aurele will join the team in January, after the new year celebration.
